Our Team.
As a business we pride ourselves on providing world-class service, whether we are working as your General Counsel or on an ad hoc project. With that in mind, our team has expanded to include additional generalists, with specialities that expand and support the experience of our Founder, Lucy.

Lucy
General Counsel
Strategy, Governance, Seed - Series B Rounds & Global Restructuring
English qualified, experienced across Europe, Asia, Australasia & USA
Lucy’s career has ranged from intense $500m+ acquisitions at Jones Day and White & Case, advising 600 startups via her own consultancy in Singapore, to working as in-house General Counsel for incredible British scale-ups like Omnipresent. Starting her career in traditional Mergers & Acquisitions, Lucy's experience now spans corporate, finance, commercial, compliance and employment, but she spends most of her time focused on the hardest problems: global strategy and structuring, board and stakeholder management and designing the legal elements of new products with her clients.
Lucy loves variety, she loves learning new things and most of all she loves the feeling of making an impact. That is why she prides herself on working faster and smarter than most lawyers out there and have according to one former colleague have "the strongest bias to action of anyone I have ever met" .
Lucy’s priority will always be finding a way to make your goals a reality - and throughout her career has been told she is the most commercial and pragmatic lawyer, her clients and colleagues have ever dealt with. You will never hear a no from Lucy, only a "we can't do it like that ... but let's find a way".
Outside work Lucy is a passionate scuba diver and spent a year living on Koh Tao in Thailand working as a PADI Divemaster. She is a terrible golfer, an obsessive reader, a sixth form student mentor, organises an annual summer activity week for children and is the trustee of a local charity focused on providing access to nature for young people. After decades in big cities Lucy is rediscovering the joy of the wild having returned home to the Isle of Wight, and lives 5 minutes from the beach, with her husband and 3 daughters.
