I have had extremely varied experience across my career, and love learning new things! Here are some examples of industries I have worked in extensively, but I am confident turning my hand to pretty much anything!

SaaS

As a tech advocate and startup specialist, I am passionate about and have advised hundreds of tech businesses including taking Omnipresent and Tradegecko through their Series A and B rounds.

I am happy working using agile or kanban methodology, and in my role at Omnipresent I also founded the Legal Product Team, working hand in hand with the Product Team to design, build and implement compliant tech products for the business.

Recruitment & EOR

As an experienced commercial and employment lawyer I have advised many international recruitment firms including Space Executive and Cititec, supporting them with developing standard terms, navigating GDPR and managing disputes. I also founded the legal team at Omnipresent - a leading EOR - as employee #10 and was part of its SLT as it grew to over 400 employees!

CleanTech, Energy & Sustainability

I am passionate about sustainability, so having started my career advising traditional businesses (palm oil, mining, electric) I am now trying to redeem myself by supporting businesses fighting to make positive progress. I am currently GC at CUR8 Earth, which provides curated carbon removal portfolios, and recently worked as GC for Origen, a DAC company leveraging the lime cycle to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Deep Tech

Working at the bleeding edge of the startup ecosystem I have ridden several waves from token issues during the first blockchain boom (there will be another!) to working with machine learning and automation, to the beginnings of artificial intelligence. I am currently helping design and structure a brand new financial product for the carbon removals industry. I am a fast learner and passionate about innovation, so this work is particularly exciting!
